-[ Some fun, interesting, wild, weird, and wonderful:

I have been a Ubuntu Linux user for over 3 years now (Using latest release). Initially was hard but I was determined to learn, now can't think of ever going back to that MS crap! Folks as hard as it seems, it's worth it!

The one thing I would say anyone is thinking of moving over to linux and considers a expert in windows, don't expect that knowledge to translate into Linux, they are different and as such should be treated so.

BTW, if any of you need help with your Linux box, feel free to contact me via my contact form, or write me directly at: arixavier AT gmail DOT com.

  •   Here are some screenshots of my box (Kubuntu 7.04):

Here is Xine (Video Player) and XMMS (Audio Player similar to Winamp), but for audio nothing beats Amarok! Simply the best!
Here is my Skype for Linux running and Kopete that I use for Yahoo, MSN and Google chat users!
My desktop! I use Superkaramba (slide show, monitor) and KBFX menu with Mac Icons and Vista windows borders!
Well here is the Infostore in action! Thank you Dan for that post!
My KGPG (GPG for KDE) with all my keys running. I use Kmail and the auto decrypt/decrypt works perfect!
If I ever need MS I fire up my VM and I have a full blown XP! And the best of all is when it crashes all I have to do is click the "X" and close that window and restart the program! Cool!
Here is my Wifi wireless assistent! I use Ndiswrapper with my Broadom card, 54G and WPA compatible!
